Mile Post Consultants, Inc made three survey trips to the sub-region of East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) that includes the Islands of Borneo, Mindanao, Sulawesi for the ASEAN-Japan Centre��}��research project for eco-tourism development in the area. Mile Post delivered the report of the tourism potential of the sub-region - tentatively named as Equator Asia as it lies along the equator, along with the four governmental tourism organizations of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia (Sarawak) and the Philippines.
